Junior Controls Designer - SPM-Automation (Canada) Inc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

- Design control Cabinets
- Design Valve Panels
- Design all machine wiring from communications
  networks up to 600V circuitry as required
- Design pneumatic control system
- Generate PLC program and perform safety and
  function checks
- Generate HMI program and perform function checks
- Startup machine and perform complete test of
  machine wiring
- Troubleshoot all aspects of control systems
- Assist in mechanical setup of machines as required

REQUIREMENTS

- Successful completion of a three year Mechatronics   diploma and or a two year Electromechanical
  Engineering technician – Robotics diploma
- A solid foundation in programmable logic controls and
  electrical systems. Exposure to PLC
  (Siemens/Allan Bradley) and robot programming..
- A positive team attitude with strong organizational
  and communication skills
