Mechanical Designer - SPM-Automation (Canada) Inc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

- Ensure designs are executed to meet all
  requirements and objectives
- Design special – purpose machines as required
  to meet specifications
- Ensure designs are performed with minimal waste
- Ensure drawings are updated and improvements
  implemented
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Assist with customer service issues as required

REQUIREMENTS

- A bachelor degree in Engineering or
  Engineering Technician/Technologist
- A minimum of three to five years of machine
  design experience.
- A solid technical background in mechanical systems.
- Extensive experience using Solidworks
  design software
- A good understanding of plastic welding processes.
- Detailed knowledge of plastic finishing systems.
- Knowledge of other special purpose machinery
  applications
- Knowledge of other special purpose machinery
  applications
- A positive team attitude with strong organizational
  and communication skills
